Yes, I am the biggest nerd in the world...
I just got back from the Symphony! It was AWESOME!!!! The Philadelphia Orchestra played Beethoven's first and fifth symphonies and it was so amazing. PLUS! We got student rush tickets, (for $8!!!) and they filled us in where people hadn't shown up, so I was in the FOURTH ROW! I can tell you what the first violinist looked like! We were within 15 feet of her. It was so incredible, I am sooooo excited about it... and it was for under $10!!! Thats just so cool. Plus I got to wear my green dress, which was spiffy and made me feel pretty--not something I have felt since being here, if only because I am a lazy bum, but it was a nice feeling.
